Because I want to eat in my PJs and blow my nose at the table lol! And I don’t care if I pay a fee for it, I would have left a tip if I went out anyway. The food is still good when it arrives. That said, I try to do DD pickup when I can. That way I don’t have to call or use some website and I pay no fees and eat in the comfort of my own home. Also pickup is faster than delivery. [/quote]

I understand the basic idea of take out food, just not the DD model where you're waiting on someone else who might make multiple stops, pick up your food late, not have any ability to keep it warm during transport. When you pick up yourself you have control over the timing so you can get it home as quick as possible. But paying a premium for things like cold soggy fries makes no sense. [/quote]
Oh yeah I don’t order fries, nor ice cream for that matter.
They rarely make a stop for another delivery - you can pay extra to insure they don’t if you are feeling extra anxious about it.
Basically most of them deliver like you would deliver your own pick up. [/quote]
