Great.  Someone that knows something about science.  Let's drill down a little and tease out potential confounders  that may bias your conclusions.
Has your child ever had tutors or atttended supplemental classes after class and in the summers (e.g., SAT, ACT, PSAT, SSAT, ERB, A-P prep, or Math and 
Science courses over the summer)?

A different poster here. My child has attended Beauvoir all the way through, did extremely well on the ERB and STA exam, never had a day of prep, Kumon, or tutoring in his life. I don't even review his home work. Beauvoir also instilled in him a real sense of community.[/quote]
