We are zoned for Wakefield (Arlington) and I gotta say I’m happy with that. We didn’t consider schools when buying and it’ll be years before my kid goes to school, but I have only heard good things and I don’t regret buying in this pyramid. Kid #1 is at HBW though and I assume will stay there through high school.
We are also zoned with Wakefield and I am happy with that. Otherwise I think my kid could do really well at Thomas Jefferson, but I am not sure I want that kind of stress for him.
Currently zoned Wakefield and happy with it. Neighbors’ kids have done very well there and have gotten into very good colleges. We’d consider W-L and Arl Tech, but not interested in Yorktown, at all. If our oldest wants to apply to TJ, we’ll consider that, too, but our preference would be that they not attend that particular school. Nobody in our household needs that additional stress or pressure. Lol.
