[/quote] Yes this can happen but it is not usually so nefarious. Clubs are not obsessed with their NCSL teams. Clubs will more often play the same team in two different leagues like EDP for some variety and possible challenge. Many players will also float between say the NCSL team and the EDP team. These players are often bubble on the top team and the coaches/club would like them to get some more playing time and confidence on the lower team. This is quite common and not a big deal. [/quote]
