we can afford it, kid isn't real enthused about our state school options (UMD), she wants the big school experience, and also likes the idea of going to school in a different part of the country- feels that if you're gonna up and move across the country, college is a really good time to do it. Just know that the vast majority of her friends will be from Wisconsin. Most of the guys she dates will be from Wisconsin. Most of them will stay on Wisconsin post graduation. To me, that gets pretty one dimensional and I would say that about any state school. [/quote]
