Actually, the most dangerous thing in most neighborhoods are women’s male partners.

But nationally gun deaths are running about 39k per year and car accident deaths about 38k per year. So guns are more dangerous, particularly considering that most Americans never see a gun in their lifetime out of a holster on a LEO while the average American drives about 25 miles per day.
