+1.  Once upon a time, Manchin tried to paint himself as the great negotiator, the one that could bring both sides together to strike a bipartisan deal.  He utterly failed, and now is so dug in that he’d rather crater the US economy than compromise.  You can’t believe anything that comes out of his mouth anymore.[/quote]
