[/quote] This is very true but I hate how normalized this abuse has become. It seems as if women have to fight for every once of dignity and autonomy surrounding birth and reproductive care. It is ridiculous and accepting it will bring everyone back. Remember it wasn’t that long ago that women were tied down to hospital beds and drugged during delivery. It is not dramatic and futile to be angry about this. That’s the first step, then finding support and seeking change. Please don’t try to normalize the mistreatment of laboring women. And if you don’t want to help, at the very least don’t stand in the way.[/quote]
