Their entire purpose is to promote the more equitable distribution of MCPS resources. MCCPTA has also made equity a big part of their agenda so why would Black and Brown parents need to form their own organization to promote equity if MCCPTA was already doing it? [b]Maybe[/b] it’s because the white folks equity agenda at MCCPTA was based on what white folks wanted and not what Black and Brown kids needed? [b]Maybe[/b] they they ignored and disregarded the input of Black and Brown parents so they could run around claiming an equity agenda that served other purposes? 🤔

I'll note that the Coalition lists MCCPTA as a partner organization, so they would appear to be on good terms.[/quote]
