[/quote] It depends on your kids goals with soccer - middle school soccer is pretty terrible and can safely be skipped in all cases. At the top end of kids who might go pro or play for d1 schools, high school soccer is probably a distraction and risky for injuries without any great payoff. For average kids playing club soccer, high school soccer is fun and can complement a half year club team commitment. [/quote]
