I'm not poor but certainly would miss $3k.  I don't understand how you signed up for this and just now realized the season would start in the spring.

I would claim the club is essentially charging a full season for 1/2 of the games and practices.  Attempt to get more programming for your daughter by joining another team's practices.  It may be too late for fall rec, but that would have been something I would do if I was in your position.  The club isn't going to give you a refund so attempt to get the same amount of service as other families paying the same as you did and having a fall and spring season.[/quote]
