It isn't really much of a showcase as only a few fairly small local schools attend so there is no showcasing advantage to speak of so playing up is likely for the challenge. The overall strength of the tournament is really focused on U10-U14/U15. Older ECNL/GA teams will focus on their showcases rather than travel to this. You might get some local ECNL/GA teams playing in it but not many.

Add to the fact that Covid is still a cloud several teams may just not want to travel for it as well.

But here is the college list to scroll. There are some good schools to be sure but schools are not really traveling for it either. The fact that the tournament is held during the peak of the College Soccer season is another huge reason why it is not much of a showcase. So coaches will drive up the street or a 1.5 for a game but not much more than that. [/quote]
