Like all schools, in any given year there may be space blips or teachers that aren't the correct fit.  But what makes CDS so special, so loved is the culture of the school, extending back for decades.  It is hard to quantify but it defines the school, and it is a commitment to meaningful learning and creative exploration.   The curriculum is top notch, the teachers are just superb.  They bring the best of engaged, intuitive instruction with enthusiasm and caring.  The parent body is involved and valued by the school administration.  The grounds are fabulous.   Yet somehow it is more than the sum of its parts.

I know I sound like I am gushing, but choosing CDS was one of the best decisions I have made for my children. [/quote]
