This is silly.  I'm a senior associate at a biglaw firm and I have no idea where those I supervise went to law school.  Unless I knew them as summer associates and happened to hear their school, where they went to law school makes absolutely NO difference to me or to anyone else I know around here.  What matters is work quality and willingness to work hard to improve and fix mistakes.  OP, my work is regularly marked all over by the partners with whom I work - it's just their style.  So it could be that you're not doing as badly as you think you are.  If you're showing initiative and trying to improve, I can guarantee you it's being noticed and appreciated.  But OP I've been in the dark place you are now , and I can tell you it felt terrible.  :(  I hope things improve for you.[/quote]
