Are other area schools really dealing with this differently? Is ACPS somehow an outlier? It sounds like school in PW and Fredericksburg already had outbreaks. Anyone know how APS and Fairfax are fairing?
APS is doing testing and outdoor lunch. FCPS is allowing outdoor lunch and will require student athletes to be vaccinated. Plenty of things happening in other districts and ACPS won’t move the needle. I would love to know how all the federal dollars, designated for keeping schools open safely, are being spent with very few protective measures in place. ACPS received millions in funding.
It’s all for SEAL WTAF that is.
I want to see a breakdown of these SEAL expenses. Like, truly, how are millions of dollars being spent (er, wasted)? Our ACPS elementary school’s one psychologist left last year and they still don’t have a replacement. So much for supporting kids’ social-emotional learning. There is zero plan or accountability from this school district right now.
