[/quote] I've coached an played in the sportsplex for years and you are describing the adult leagues, not the youth leagues. Yes, if you play at night in the adult leagues you have about a 50/50 chance of having a real ref or of having one looking away talking to his friends or on his phone the whole game (the worst is when the friends he is chatting with instead of reffing are the other team). The youth leagues almost always have real referees and usually good ones. [/quote]
