Didn't say friendlies do mean anything I was just responding to a post that seemed to try and discredit the goals because they were a free kick and a PK. It is a friendly and carries little weight overall but it is a barometer. [/quote]

They mean two things;
1. The defender got beat and had no alternative but to foul.
2. The player striking the ball obviously did their job. Shot placement matters.
