Why did I post all this? It is, after all, not an Olympics of misery. I posted bcs we are all raising kids who think not seeing Johnny on the weekends is equivalent to a death sentence. But, having said that, why were they not seeing Johny? If you are a reasonable person with risk assessment, you would have realized that seeing Johny is not that dangerous, that most American kids were in schools all last year, and that you could maybe put them in a private, that taking road trips is not dangerous at all if you take proper precautions.

So, sure it would be way better if things were not covid, but somehow I doubt your kids are all that damaged from this If you have limited their social lives past last summer, well I think they are suffering bcs of you.
