In the immortal words of Congressman Adam Kinzinger, the Republican Party is now “the weird worship of one dude.” Politics has become religion. That’s why deciding what goes into Political Discussion, Religion or Relationship Discussion is getting difficult to decide.
My friend on the left are as dogmatic as my friends on the right. This behaviour is not exclusive to one party.
I am a hard-line D voter. I can no longer stomach my progressive friends. They are just as self righteous as the Trumpers. It's too much. So yes, these pool parents could easily be either side. I have no difficulty believing that there are liberal parents at the pool patting themselves on the back for whatever moral high horse they're on at present.
Liar, You are not a Democrat. If you were you would not be using vocabulary that Trump and his cronies use. You and your cronies are the "self righteous " Traitors to the US.
You're proving my point. And yes, I have been a D my whole life. I even work in immigration, which is nearly 100% D. I volunteer in gun violence prevention. I mean, I couldn't be more D. That said, I see a lot of my colleagues and fellow volunteers who are hard to stomach. I totally understand why we're off setting and not good at bringing people to the fold.
