Sellers set their own prices and shipping keeps going up (minimum is $4.15), plus there is a 12% fee charged to sellers, so cheaper single items tend to be hiked up by a lot of people. (If I sell something for $7, I get $2.01 profit after shipping plus fee.) Most sellers send offers though, especially if you buy more than one item, so you can assume the prices are a little inflated to account for this.
