It is interesting that you employ mockery and condescension as your primary tactics in attempting to advocate your position. These are learned habits that unfortunately are not that effective in practice if your goal is to change someone's mind to your way of thinking.

Since you presumably learned these habits from your parents and your interactions with them, I wonder if you've ever thought about the many times when your parents have mocked and patronized you? Did it result in you changing your mind or did you dig in deeper?

Most people dig in deeper when they are being mocked or addressed in a condescending way. It is something to consider as you continue to post here. At the very least you might want to consider signing up for Debate as one of your Electives so that you can become more proficient and effective when sharing your perspective.

DP. There are official channels for that. We don't need a new thread here every time there is a case. These threads aren't meant to be informational anyway. They're meant to be "let me stand on my soap box and say I told you so..." There have been threads about it.  Many of us wish there were "official channels."  If there were, and if they were transparent and truthful, then I would be happy.[/quote]
