Three years later and that still stings. Can you hire someone to help you, even a few hours a week? You can’t change your mom, but a regular break might ease some of the stress you’re dealing with.

OP here. The sad thing is my mom will constantly want to have video calls, make recordings for the baby, and my dad will just sit to the side looking irritated. I know my mom cares about the baby, and she'll constantly send gifts, ask for photos, but it's all virtual. I was telling my husband if I had to do one more zoom call with the baby, I was going to lose my mind.[/quote]
