DP and I know how to pronounce it but the previous PPs are right that OP is deluded if she thinks it's a given that everyone will know how to pronounce it.  Read the thread.

Of course, looking forward to explaining how to pronounce it to people so that they can feel sophisticated by comparison is 80% of the allure for people who name their kids Saorise and Siobhan and Caoimhe.[/quote]
