I'm not vaccinated. 50 yo white female Democrat. I have medical issues, including severe allergies and an as yet undiagnosed auto immune condition, with risk of blood clots. I am doing the right thing for me, which is holding off on vaccination until I have a handle on my health.[/quote]

So you're 50 years old and have a ton of health issues, but you're approximately 1000 times less likely to die of this brand new disease than the average person is because reasons. Also it's a brand new vaccine, after all, unlike COVID-19, which was so named because it came into existence in the year 1619.[/quote]

Probably a blood clot will get me first and our bickering can end. I'm not in a position or mind frame to introduce a new vaccine into my body. I understand you are anxious about covid and berating internet strangers gives you some sense of control, but I have to do what I feel is best for me. Hey, I genuinely hope you don't die, Internet stranger! But none of this has anything to do with my "anxiety." Unfortunately if you don't introduce a new vaccine into your body, a new disease is very likely to walk right on in without being invited. There is no neutral choice here, though since you sound like you won't be getting vaccinated, I can only very genuinely hope you luck out and don't contract COVID. I say this only because that was all I could hope for when my family did the same. Unfortunately they did gamble and they lost-- two were hospitalized and one died. [/quote]
