She absolutely takes it regularly(she’s highly motivated by the outcome if she doesn’t). If this pill hadn’t worked any better than the two before it, the pediatric gynecologist said the shot was a possible next step. I’m not sure why she didn’t start there but I’m guessing there was a reason. As for an IUD, having had one myself I don’t know that I’d put my young teen through that. Plus, not all people skip periods with that, and doing so reliably was our goal. [/quote]
