Why would any MPD police officer risk charges of racism (plus the risk of facing armed criminals) by going to Anacostia?

Much safer to write parking tickets in Tennleytown at 1 AM than go into S.E.

Claims of "racism" are a bogus attack that needs to be slapped down.  Again the answer is that they are responding to crime stats, not racial stats.  There are lots of predominantly black neighborhoods that don't have as much violence going on as the 2% of the city that is responsible for 40% of the shootings.[/quote]
