Bumping to see if anyone has feedback on the Tonal machine. We are moving and will finally have room for one. Looking to tone up and get strength back after gaining some COVID weight. Is it worth the price tag? Not interested in a Peleton.
I've had my tonal since December 2020 and I can't say enough good things about it. I'm 49 and have been lifting weights a long time, but never with consistency and with the approach that Tonal takes, which is basically to do four weeks of the same movements (3 or 4 days a week, with a different set of moves on each of those days) so you can track your progress. It sounds cheesy and like I'm marketing for them, but it truly does feel like having a personal trainer in your house. I already had a peloton bike before getting the tonal, and my kids like to use it but I have to force myself now to get on the peloton b/c I prefer to spend my workout time on the tonal. HTH!
