The influx of new folks, many of whom are coming from the DC area, may change the political demographics more and more. And if it matters to OP, I beeeliiieve New Market and such are all in the 8th district (Raskin) for the U.S. House. But while Frederick County went for Trump in 2016 and then flipped for Biden in 2020...the state officials are typically GOP. [/quote]
