When it was announced that we would have an SEL curriculum, I was hopeful. There has always been a need and this is a wonderful time to implement one. However, to call what I sat through for 3 days either “social emotional” or even “curriculum” is using both terms very loosely. Mcps had an opportunity to make a good decision here and missed it.[/quote]
