You can call it wrong but you can't tell me what to believe.[/quote] Sam Harris and others like to argue that if you don't believe literally, you might as well admit you're an atheist. I've always thought this was one of his weaker arguments, because many Jews and Christians think the Bible is an historical record (as opposed to Muslims who believe the Koran was dictated to Mohammed). Not to mention the irony of an atheist telling us what we "should" believe![/quote]
