[/quote] At many schools, at every level of education, teachers were told to be EXTREMELY understanding and forgiving, under the assumption that all underachievement could be pinned on COVID. So, in additional to cheating, I think that grading standards were relaxed last year. (And the format of many assessments were changed, because the teacher was not comfortable giving an proctored exam. So sometimes papers were substituted, or open book exams.)[/quote]
