I agree.  It was important at first, but I don’t care so much now.  I put in an honest days work and the rest is out of my hands.  And honestly, in the end maybe I get an extra $1-2k bonus for a 5 rating and it’s taxed at a high rate anyway.  Whatevs.[/quote]

This, and it's all agency and supervisor dependent, too.  I got all 5/5 on a performance review and got like a $300 award.  Not worth it, and my boss grades on a curve and rations 5s within the group because the department head made an offhand comment once about how no one's whole team should get all 5s, so it's whomever is her favorite at the time and not a measurement against KSA expectations like private sector.[/quote]
