Anyone know what can be done with low scores (5-15%). Does the school provide extra support like summer school to help raise them?
If you want your child to increase focus and sharpen his/her thinking skills, just grab some CogAT prep workbooks or critical thinking activity books as a supplement. When we started going virtual in March 2020, I bought the OLSAT workbooks for DD to try out, as she was starting to lose her focusing skills with the online learning at 1st grade. She found them fun, and also did some sudoku for kids. Then we tried the CogAT books which had more quantitative stuff. It definitely helped her with focus. We didn't know anything about the CogAT testing for all 2nd graders then.
