I just wrote the post after a long day where I was feeling good about where I live. I do notice on DCUM whenever someone mentions Capitol Hill, there are people who chime in with the strangest assumptions about it, things that are really wildly inaccurate.  I probably have false misconceptions about other parts of the region.

So, I was just thinking that we could tell each other what we do like about where we live.  Not to be competitive, since each person is looking for something different in a neighborhood, but just to have a chance to say what is nice about the life we have found ourselves in.  If we happen to dispell some of the silly myths about neighborhoods in our region, even better.  [/quote]
