This murder has a very sordid past of people saying Dan and Linda deserved it.  Betty even has a fan club that keeps her commissary funds full.  She is a sort of aspirational figure for women whose husbands cheated and left.  I don't condone his behavior but I also don't want to hear the "side" of the murderer.  She has continued to smear them in death, and who wants to be a part of that? Police can't find any evidence rhat Linda wrote cow on the checks or other things Betty accused her of and her friends say that would be out of character.   [/quote]
