You need to figure out what is a good fit for your kid. Also, if your kid is not the next rock star then my guess your kid will need to see where he falls in the depth chart for example if he will be #6 attack, #5/6 pole or 3rd line middie then you are going to see very little to zero playing time.  So if your kid is confident he can beat out the kids in front of him at try outs go for it they will take you.

From being excellent/great.  Based on the OP i think ML has it but DCE is a few kids away as well and nice players could swing either way.  Remember the number of clubs at this age have diluted the pool and have spread the talent out across all top clubs in the DMV (ML, DCE, VLC, - Hardlax, True, TC) so you need a group of players from each club to be "Elite" and challenge the likes of the Hawks or some of the northeast NYC teams.[/quote]
