I'm not 100% as my kid had next game on the field. From what I saw a player on the opposing team took a high kick to the head, penalty called. Ref called for a tournament trainer. BRYC coach got into an argument with the ref, words exchanged, red card to coach, assistant said something, red for him. I think the argument was that opposing team was wasting time. Trainer walked the injured kid across the field (he looked pretty out of it to me), play resumed, went on for a bit and then some tournament folks came on and called the forfeit.[/quote]

Yeah that seemed to be the gist of it. If the game started on time then probably 15-20 left, if it started late then more. One point game, both teams looked like they were getting chances, so way too early to start wasting time. And again, saw the kid walk across the field with the trainer to go to the tent, he didn't look good. Most kids who fake an injury slow walk to the bench then are back in 5 mins later, they don't go to the tent with the trainer.[/quote]
