I am not upset about it and am obviously aware of the necessity of making decisions with imperfect information (probably a lot more familiar with this than you given my line of work). The whole question is whether this process couldn’t be better. Plenty of other team selections occur in a context where you know who else is on a team. High school sports. AAU. College athletics. Workplaces. Not knowing this information is the exception, not the rule, but given the modest stakes, I don’t really care too much at all. [/quote]
