I live on the GA/SC border. All of our gas stations are out of gas. I passed 7 on my way to work that had no fuel. Any gas station with gas has lines. It’s quite scary.
Same thing as toilet paper a year ago.
Yup. [twitter]https://twitter.com/elleawood/status/1392238921954832384?s=21[/twitter]
I didn’t see any of that foolishness near me. It was people filling their cars and service vehicles that drive all day long everyday, getting gas. Twitter is trash.
Actually, the first picture is fine. The second picture is not fine. It's actually an explosion hazard to fill gas cans (tanks) in the bed of a pickup because of static electricity. I don't even necessarily care that the first people are "hoarding" gas. It's just some gas cans. The second guy is truly hoarding it. https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/docs/98-111/pdfs/98-111.pdf?id=10.26616/NIOSHPUB98111
Many gas stations are instituting a limit in dollar amount of gallon amount to stop complete idiots like above. But with gas prices, regular people do not have the extra cash to hoard fuel. Regular working people just need fuel to get to work and their kids from school, etc.
