Have those teachers considered how much those parents [i]could[/i] be paying in property taxes and that technically teachers should be subservient to taxpayers becaus it's like, right in the name public [i]servant[/I]? I wish teachers would start appreciating that without my taxes, nay, without my children, their C- undergraduate transcript would be useless and I, and I alone, keep them employed.[/quote]

Actually teachers could easily jump over to private school. They get paid less. They also don't actually need a teaching license.  So they can be employed elsewhere if they would like[/quote]
