The ones in the House of Delegates or state Senate at the last legislative session voted against SB 1303 to a woman or man. They didn't just vote against the emergency clause, they voted against the whole bill. The Ds who voted for the bill (and there were many) aren't running for governor. No D has come out and said (s)he will appoint someone other than Atif as Secretary of Education. These are the areas to press your Ds on, if you are a D. Obviously the Rs will head in a different direction, but it will include things that aren't palatable to most in northern Virginia.[/quote]
