It is a genetic lottery.  My spouse works on Broadway, and we know many actresses.  Their looks are literally a big part of what they get paid for, plus they have to be in good physical shape for dancing, etc.  So, they all take very good care of themselves, but once they reach their 40s, things work out differently for different people.   And of course sometimes people get sick, and the treatments affect the looks; it’s life.   [/quote]
