The price is reasonable, all the options I want, clear CarFax, but has been used as a rental/courtesy loaner by the dealership for 6 months. Has 4000 miles. BMW SUV. Looking for advice, or if I should pass on this. I don’t mind used, but the rental history worries me. Also anyone know how much further you can negotiate off the listed internet price these day? Thanks.
I did exactly this for an X3 three years ago. The only caution I have is to check the tires. The car had 2800 miles, the tires must have had much more because I had to replace them relatively early. They sell them as new cars because they have never been titled, so if new vs. used matters for financing or anything, you should know that. Also, because of this, they aren't discounted like you would think of a truly used car. I believe I got a good price and I love my car.
