MAYBE the few kids who have not been recommended in the past but who want to take it CAN handle it.[/quote] this is good to know, I have no idea how kids can get into an AP class. however, if this is the case, why is this limited to AP English and AP US History? why not extending to AP calculus, AP biology, physics or chemistry? if minority kids are kept out from AP classes due to teacher's bias, it seems fair that those AP classes are open too.
