One part is to confirm eligibility, so I answered honestly (for myself) and got the following result: "Sorry, you’re not eligible to receive the COVID-19 Vaccination right now. Please check back at a future date as you may become eligible." FWIW, other than employment categories, here's the eligible categories for teens: "Marylanders ages 16+ with underlying medical conditions that increase the risk for severe COVID-19 illness Marylanders ages 16+ with disabilities who are receiving SSI or SSDI benefits" It's possible that the website sometimes lets people through erroneously, but it's also possible that people are falsely "confirming" that their kids are eligible, and that that's how they're getting the shot.
