My gf worked with a midwife and did an IUI at home. Three tries, two kids. Like 1/10th of the cost.
How did she do IUI at home? I think people are confused. The Soren for IUI has to be specially washed so it can be safely inserted. Washed, as in treated in a specialty machine in a special facility.
She said she worked with the midwife who specialized in at-home inseminations. She tracked her ovulation, called on day of, midwife came over with tools (I don’t know if there was machine involved) and the midwife inserted sperm into cervix with some tool. She has two kids now, and also is in same sex marriage, so I believe her.
