Note that anyone can hit a button to merge the results for teams which have multiple names and/or switch results from one team to another.  It doesn't always happen - but many such errors get fixed eventually either by the team manager or just a random parent or kid.  Also - given the way the algorithm works - older data has much less impact on the ranking than recent games, especially if the team has made a significant improvement or decline where the ranking would adjust quite rapdily over a relatively small number of games.[/quote]
