I'm pretty sure that Ward 8 has running water and electricity, unlike Texas when Cruz left for Mexico.
I'm pretty sure the percentage of people in White's ward without running water and electricity is vastly larger than any other ward. I know you think you're trying to set the record straight by being snarky and contrarian to the masses on this forum, but that's a breathlessly callous comment.
Nope he's right. Cruz left during the worst winter storm in Texas history when millions in his state were sitting in freezing homes, were dealing with disaster-level destruction from burst water pipes, hundreds died overnight, and no end in sight. On top of a vaccination crisis. Meanwhile White just left for vacation when the Biden adminstration has secured an additional 20 million one-shot doses from Johnson & Johnson for immediate delivery. So tell us - how are these the same? [twitter]https://twitter.com/kaitlancollins/status/1375458576936894467[/twitter] [twitter]https://twitter.com/Cleavon_MD/status/1362264681633574912[/twitter] [twitter]https://twitter.com/CStoreNews_/status/1361874271522406402[/twitter]
White left during the worst pandemic in recent U.S. history when thousands in his ward have died and thousands more can't get vaccinated, with no end in sight. Apart from it being 80 today, sounds pretty similar. They both went to sunny places to escape, too.
Now I know you're lying. A 1,000 people total in the city of Washington, D.C. have died from the Covid-19 pandemic. 1,055 to be exact, including all 8 wards, as of 03/26/2021.
Ah, so the fact that hundreds and not thousands have died in Ward 8 -- far more than any other Ward -- is a good thing? Got it.
Again you're lying. Only 170 people have died in Ward 8 from Covid-19. Lies do not make a good argument.
"Only 170 people." Look at your little chart again, especially the Ward 8 part. 1 in 5 DC covid deaths, more or less, came from one ward. Again, you're saying this is good?
Do you even live here? Like I'm seriously asking. In answer to you question, 1 in 5 would be 20% not 18%. Even so the death rates in Wards 4,5,7,8 are practically identical. So no its not some weird conspiracy against Ward 8.
The most deaths and the highest percentage of deaths in DC have been in Ward 8. The council member from that ward just went on a transatlantic vacation when his constituents are clamoring to get vaccinated. He's also done jack shit to at the very least endorse the idea of vaccination. At worst, he's commented on social media that he's anti-vaccination. That is the issue here.
