Dr. Davis at Cornell really seems to have the low dose protocol down. For me, I appreciated going to a doctor who recommends this and knows this protocol, vs. a doctor whom I have to convince to do it. I was on estrogen priming patches, ganirelix 2xday instead of one, and triggered with 5,000 instead of 10,000 units of HCG. All these details seemed to be well-researched, so I felt very comfortable with the protocol.
Did you do this recently? If not during COVID, were you able to do early monitoring locally? Success? Trying to decide if Cornell is the right next step, so any additional info would be great!
We went last month and were not able to monitor locally. It didn't work for us, but I was very impressed with the clinic. I wish I had gone there earlier - they are a cut above all the clinics in the DMV. We rented an Airbnb about a mile away and I walked to the clinic for appointments. It was pretty easy for the most part. My husband and I teleworked and enjoyed takout and NYC walks. I did have to get a few required covid tests. If you want to do low dose I truly believe Cornell is the best, but that's my own opinion from my experience there and at CFA and SG.
