He has gotten a lawyer and gone to court (I'm going off of the news articles I've read about the situation).

Are you familiar with child custody battles at all? I've never been through one, but even I'm aware that it's not as easy-breezy as 1-2-3, go to court and everything is perfectly and fairly resolved.[/quote]

The point is that he has plenty of resources at his disposal.  I find it very hard to believe that Padma could just keep her child from his father simply because she wants to.  Doesn't work that way.  [/quote]
